Réseau ACCESS Network in partnership with Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op will host a screening of the film; Kímmapiiyipitssini: The Meaning of Empathy. Prior to starting the film, there will be an opening ceremony, overdose recognition & response training and a short discussion.
Community Art Workshops for those with living and lived experience with substance use and overdose are happening throughout August in support of International Overdose Awareness Day.
Local landmarks, businesses and organizations have also been requested to turn Sudbury purple!

The overdose epidemic is everyone's problem, but it's being left to a small group to step up.
