Location: The Spokane Regional Opioid Task Force (SROTF) will be hosting a “Together We Can” event at three locations on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 11 am-5 pm. SROTF has partnered with Yokes Fresh Markert to host the event at their North Foothills & Montgomery locations. The third location is Riverfront Park, near the Carousel.

During this event volunteers will be sharing overdose prevention resources and giving community members the opportunity to design a paper lantern in memory of a loved one who has passed due to an overdose.
A separate event, “Lantern Lighting,” will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, from 8-8:30 pm at Huntington Park (325 N Post, across from Riverfront Park).
