The Flag and Pinwheel Display: To visually represent the gravity of the local crisis, organizers placed 57 purple flags and pinwheels outside the courthouse, the Chester County Justice Center, and the Government Services Center. Each flag represented one of the 57 lives lost to an accidental drug overdose in Chester County during the prior year.

Purple Courthouse Illumination: Leading up to and during the event, the Historic Courthouse was completely illuminated in purple light—the international color for overdose awareness.

Luminary Ceremony: The evening closed with a poignant luminary ceremony, where attendees decorated individual luminary bags with personalized drawings, memories, and heartfelt messages dedicated to lost loved ones.

Keynote Speakers: Local advocates and healthcare experts shared testimonies of grief and hope. Featured speakers included Gail Campbell, a registered nurse and Family Support Director, who highlighted the crucial need for family recovery resources.

Resource Fair & Harm Reduction: Local health organizations set up outreach tables providing treatment navigation advice and distributing free Naloxone (Narcan) rescue kits.
