ICOM-SOMA’s Advocacy Committee and Addiction Medicine Interest Group are hosting a lunch and learn on International Overdose Awareness Day, in partnership with Central District Health. The event covers what campus organizations are doing on overdose prevention, a full overdose response training, and a student-led case discussion and skills lab.

Walkthrough and club tables (30 min): information and resources from student organizations working on overdose prevention and addiction medicine
Central District Health overdose response training (60 min): naloxone administration, overdose recognition, and Idaho’s Good Samaritan Law
Case presentations and skills lab (45–60 min): student-led case discussion with hands-on practice
