The Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System will be hosting an outreach event to Veterans and their loved ones to commemorate International Overdose Awareness Day. Teams of professionals from Pharmacy Service, Mental Health Service, and Suicide Prevention will be available to educate the public on ways to decrease the risk for suicide via overdose, as well as provide naloxone training and free naloxone kits to those who are interested. The event will take place at both campuses (North Little Rock and Little Rock) from 8 AM to 3:30 PM.
