The Grant County Health District will hold its fourth annual Community Resource Fair and International Overdose Awareness Day on Saturday, Aug. 29, at McCosh Park in Moses Lake. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is being held in partnership with the Moses Lake Farmers Market.

104 overdose-related deaths were reported in Grant County between 2022 and 2024. Saturday’s event aims to honor lives lost to substance use disorder while offering support and resources to those currently affected by it. Free Narcan will be available along with training on how to use it.
