Thunderbird Partnership Foundation staff are marking International Overdose Awareness Day 2026 with updates on naloxone distribution to First Nations in Canada and for education & training opportunities on overdose prevention. Naloxone may not be readily available for everyone who needs it and Thunderbird has naloxone kits available to meet First Nation critical and ongoing supply needs. We will be meeting to have an overview naloxone distributuikn and to ask ourselves what individual staff can do to be aware of and prevent overdose.
