The event will be delivered by BHN’s Harm Reduction team and is an opportunity to learn how to recognise and respond to an overdose, build awareness of naloxone, and take part in a reflective activity marking the day.
The work of our Harm Reduction team reflects what makes us BHN. One of our brand pillars is that we meet people where they are, with accessible and inclusive services. Harm reduction is a practical example of this, supporting people in ways that are respectful, non-judgemental and responsive to their individual circumstances.
This approach also contributes to our vision of equitable health and wellbeing, shaped with our communities. It helps reduce stigma, strengthens community wellbeing, and ensures people can access support in ways that uphold dignity and respect.
