Flag Display: Beginning August 28, 2026, the coalition set up a flag display outside Portsmouth Town Hall in Rhode Island, with each flag representing a life lost to overdose in the state during the year.

Community Focus: The observance aimed to remember those lost, support grieving families, and break down the stigma surrounding substance use.
