Join us and be part of the solution to prevent overdose deaths in our community.
In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, the Missoula Drug Safety Coalition is offering a FREE Overdose Prevention & Naloxone Training at the Scheels Training Center in Southgate Mall.
In this hands-on training, you’ll learn how to:
💜 Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
💜 Respond confidently in an emergency
💜 Administer naloxone, a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and save a life
Free naloxone kits will be provided to participants.
Whether you’re a parent, friend, neighbor, service provider, or simply someone who wants to be prepared, everyone is welcome. Together, we can reduce stigma, increase awareness, and help make Missoula a safer, more compassionate community.
Please note: Lunch will not be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
This event is hosted by the Missoula Drug Safety Coalition, facilitated by Missoula Public Health, in partnership with Recovery Friendly Montana.
