International Overdose Awareness Day – Mississauga Community Gathering

Join us for a community evening of remembrance, education, healing, and hope in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.

This free community event brings together people with lived and living experience, families, friends, community members, service providers, and allies to honour those we have lost to overdose, support those impacted, and raise awareness about overdose prevention. Together, we can reduce stigma, foster compassion, and strengthen our community through connection and education.

The event will feature:

Guest speakers with lived/living experience and community leaders
Community resource information booths
Free naloxone training and naloxone kit distribution
A healing arts and wellness area
Light refreshments
Opportunities to connect, remember, and learn
