Metuchen CARES will host a candlelight vigil in memory of all who died from an overdose, beginning at 7 PM. The entire community is invited to gather in support of those who lost loved ones to the life-shattering disease of addiction and those who are presently fighting it.
Taking part in the event will be Metuchen Borough officials, clergy, community leaders, and a featured speaker whose story offers hope. Local organizations, houses of worship, youth groups, and sports teams will be represented. Families with children in middle school, high school, and college are encouraged to attend.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.
