π Together We Remember π
Please join us for a community gathering in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.
Together, we will honor the lives lost to overdose, support those carrying the grief of that loss, and remind our community that every life matters.
Community members are invited to:
π Bring a picture or photocopy of a loved one to honor at our memorial table
π Write a name or message on a purple flag and add it to the community display
π Take part in a brief remembrance program featuring community voices
π Pause for quiet reflection
π Access overdose-prevention education, harm-reduction supplies, and community resources
The purple flags will remain on display in the park for 24 hours, through International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31.
This event is free and open to everyone. No registration is required, and visitors are welcome to participate in whatever way feels comfortable.
Whether you are grieving, in recovery, supporting someone you love, or simply want to stand with our communityβwe welcome you.
