This is an event that is in honor those we have lost due to overdose and to celebrate recovery and battling the disease of addiction.

This is a four hour event that is taking place at the St. John’s Episcopal Church where we will be accompanied by the Howard County Heath Department, Howard County Fire Department, and many recovery and rehabilitation resources.

The event will have an option for creativity with our art table that will allow attendees to express themselves and what the day means to them. There will be live music gently playing in the background as well as light refreshments. We will have speakers, Naloxone training, and end the evening with a candlelight vigil.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.

Sign up to the International Overdose Awareness Day newsletter and become part of the global movement to end overdose.
