Join the Northern Shenandoah Valley Substance Abuse Coalition for our Third Annual International Overdose Awareness Day event scheduled on Thursday, August 31st at 6:30pm.
We will gather in front of the Old Civil War Museum in Winchester to honor and remember those we’ve lost to an overdose. The event will begin with resource tables from various community organizations. We will also have rapid REVIVE trainings and free NARCAN at the event as well!
Stephen Hill will also join us to share his story and bring awareness to the stigma of addiction. After he speaks, we will hold a candlelight vigil to honor those who have lost their lives to addiction.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.

Sign up to the International Overdose Awareness Day newsletter and become part of the global movement to end overdose.
