Location: Awareness table set up with overdose, harm reduction, needle distribution/disposal and Naloxone Training with Free Kits. There were also displays on International Overdose Day in the display cabinets in the Colchester-East Hants Regional Library, in Truro, Nova Scotia. There was a similar display in the New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. There was an earlier event at the Farmers Market in Amherst, Nova Scotia. The Northern Healthy Connections Society receives funding through Nova Scotia Health and mandated to provide services throughout the northern health zone in Nova Scotia (Colchester, Cumberland, East Hants and Pictou Counties.)

Refer to the section above, with the exception of the plan to have the Colchester-East Hants Regional Library lit up with purple flood lights, if the Town can get a contractor to repair the lighting system.
