Regardless of what AJ was doing, he always kept his sense of humor, was loyal & loved those close to him with every fiber in his body! Life is never going to be the same & not we learn to navigate a life on earth without you. We love you AJ!!!

The beautiful baby peppers. Im so sorry. The community has been shaken by your loss. We lost little beautiful Mia at just 15 to this horrible disease and a year later it stole you from us as well, janessa. Blessed to have gotten to know yoy the short time I did. Mia knew you loved her janessa. Goodbye beautiful peppers

My Beloved Son
February 27,1996 – January 18, 2023

My son, Thomas Hidson, passed away on January 1, 2018 by a fentanyl overdose… he was only 28 and had his whole life ahead of him… we are all still so sad and miss him terribly…

A couple days ago we celebrated your 35th Birthday, the same day our little girl started Kindergarten. We miss you everyday more and more, but feel you with us, that day especially. I love you forever, sweet husband!

My son died May 26th to accidental fentanyl overdose. He was 38 father of 3.

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we honor the life and memory of our beloved son and stepson, Josiah Velasquez, who was taken from us far too soon at the age of 15.
There are no words strong enough to express the love we carry for him, or the ache that lives in our hearts every single day since he left us on May 21, 2022. His smile could light up a room. His laughter was contagious. He was funny, kind, smart, curious—and so full of potential.
He was also a teenager trying to find his way in a world that can be confusing and unforgiving. One mistake. An addiction. One moment he was here—and the next, our beautiful boy was gone, taken by the poison that is fentanyl. We share his story not out of shame, but out of love, and in the hope that no other family will have to experience the pain that now lives with us.
Josiah Velasquez mattered. His life mattered. And he is so much more than the way he died. He is our sunshine, our memory, our forever child. We speak his name with pride and with purpose. We will never stop loving him, and we will never stop telling the world about who he was—and who he should still be.
To anyone struggling, or to any parent, child, friend, or family member impacted by overdose—know that you are not alone. We see you. We stand with you. And we remember with you.
In his memory, we continue to fight for awareness, for compassion, and for change.

December 14, 1988 – June 28, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the sudden passing of Michael Bruce Allan Latkovich at the age of 36 from an accidental overdose.

Mike was born in Vancouver, BC to his mother, Denise Bourassa, and Father Bruce Latkovich. He will be forever missed by his soon-to-be wife, Chelsea Favell, of 9 years; one daughter, Mikayla Brianna Brylie Latkovich, aged 6; one brother, William “Billy” Latkovich; and brother-in-law, Kevin Esquega and Richard Halverson. He will also be missed by many friends and foster relatives.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Shirley Bourassa, and his parents-in-law, Corrine Lisa Favell and Albert Esquega.

Micheal has since been cremated and sent to Ontario to be laid to rest beside his grandmother.

I replay my last days with you in my mind before your addiction took you from me. You are still so needed by your family. So missed and so loved. I am not ashamed of you or of how you passed from overdose. You were so much more than your addiction. What I would give to hug you again hear your laugh one last time . In your honour and to try and heal I will raise awareness about overdose and addiction. 41 years young. Gone but never forgotten by those you have left behind. I love you dad always your Angel Mouse

My grandson crossed over to the otherside on August 1 2024 . He will forever be 24 . We miss him terribly . He is somebodys son 💜

On September 28th 2024 my brother died from drug overdose from fentanyl I’m remembering him best way I can & brining awareness to overdose 💙💜

Joh, I may have only known you for 10 short months before an overdose stole you from everyone that loved you but knowing you changed me irrevocably. I will always say your name and make sure that everyone I meet knows you who were and how you changed my life. Everything I do is for you ❤️

We lost our son Daniel on June 14, 2025 due to a fentanyl overdose. There are moments when we feel completely lost, searching for a life that still has him in it. It’s been an unbearable nightmare, we can’t seem to wake up from.

Daniel was kind and loving, he loved his family, fishing and so much more. Words can’t express how much we miss him.

My baby brother was found all alone on Tue 6/30 2020 in a S.F hotel. I didn’t get a chance to say I love you & we’ll get through this together. Last time I spoke or saw him was 30 days prior.
