In honour of International Overdose Awareness Day (August 31st) we are hosting
a training facilitated by Harm Reduction Victoria. The training is tailored
specifically for carers and family members of those who use Opioids (examples
of opioids include morphine, heroin, codeine, oxycodone, hydrocodone and
fentanyl). However, all are welcome to attend.
The aim of this training is to increase understanding of opioid use, recognise the
signs of overdose and learn how to administer Naloxone to someone
experiencing an overdose.
This training is delivered by a harm reduction peer worker with living experience
of overdose risk and response. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and
