The events are being organized by the PWLLE and Friends and Family planning committee in the community with support from the community agencies of harm reduction, health and wellness, family and community services and transitional supports. The events will include an opportunity for memorial and remembrance, awareness and education including the life saving naloxone. This will be done by supporting the 3 larger communities with a walk, opportunities for prayer and reflection of loved ones, naloxone training and information on the launching of the new Peer-to-peer support training, as well all addiction and recovery related services in the community. Concluding with a community feed and door prizes for families and children and youth.

The overdose epidemic is everyone's problem, but it's being left to a small group to step up.
