The annual York County Community Substance Overdose Awareness Walk

located at Miller Family Memorial Park, 8287 Miller Park Drive, Shrewsbury, PA 17361

This Substance Overdose Awareness Walk was created to promote community connections to support community members. The event will provide opportunities to honor loved ones and promote healthy healing and grief support, as well as highlight mental wellness and local health and wellness resources. Wellness activities will be provided at the event along with substance prevention resources. Staff will be present to welcome individuals and a schedule of activities will be shared with the community closer to the date of the event featuring health professionals offering resources and expertise. Walking paths are asphalt and wheelchair accessible and available all day for community members.

Free resources, activities, education and entertainment will be provided as well as memorial tribute honoring loved ones who have passed away as a result of a substance overdose.
