Breaking Chains Recovery is hosting Overdose Awareness Day to honor the lives lost to overdose, stand with the families left behind, and push back against the stigma that keeps people silent. This is a day to come together as a community—not in shame, not in blame—but in truth, compassion, and hope.
We are breaking chains, breaking stigma, and breaking the cycle by openly acknowledging the reality of addiction and mental health. Through remembrance, shared stories, and unity, we turn pain into purpose and loss into action. Every life matters. Every story matters.
This day is about remembering those we’ve lost while choosing to move forward together—supporting recovery, encouraging conversation, and building a future where help is accessible and no one has to suffer alone.
Come stand with us. Come remember. Come be part of the change.
