6th Annual Celebration of Lives Lost and Lives Recovered

Location: This is a Virtual event like the others we have had in the past. Any and all are welcomed to join us and celebrate the lives of those lost to AOD addiction. John Whitaker, SUDCCii, has 10 friends and family members he has been celebrating for over 12 years. 5 years ago, during the Covid epidemic, we moved to a Virtual event.

John Whitaker, SUDCCii has been celebrating the passing of dear friends and family for more than 12 years through IOAD activities in Southern California. Since COVID, the event has changed to Virtual. We celebrate by first sharing information on Addiction and Overdose and how we might be able to recognize signs and symptoms and how to reverse an Opioid Overdose with Naloxone. We then read the names of those who lost their battle to addictive disease and their loved ones who may be present, share a moment with all of us celebrating their life and loves never to be forgotten.
We then have a person in long-time recovery share their experience of overcoming the grip of this disease and some of the friends and/or family that they have lost. We hope you will be able to join us and share with us the life of your loved one(s). All times are Pacific Daylight Time (GMT-7)
