IOA Day is a day set aside to recognize the lives lost to a drug overdose. In 2021, there were over 107,000 people who died in the US alone from a drug overdose. THAT IS TOO MANY!! Please come down and help us honor these people and their families. We have great vendors offering a resource fair from 5-7:30 pm providing information, fun activities, give-aways & FREE Narcan training. Winnebago County’s Director of Coroner’s Office, Jennifer Muraski will be speaking on the reality of drug overdose deaths in our county.
All of this is during the already fun & exciting Rockton River Market. There are food trucks, shopping vendors, a kid’s jumping house and live music!
Thank you to IL HPP Prescription Playbook, Tommy Corral Memorial Fund, Crusader Clinic, RAMP, WCHD- Opioid Rapid Response Team, NAMI-Northern IL, the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office and the Village of Rockton!

The overdose epidemic is everyone's problem, but it's being left to a small group to step up.

Do your part and support these unrecognised responders by pushing for change today.
