Adams County Agencies Battling Against Substance Use and Overdose is hosting a community event to bring education and awareness of overdose to light. On the evening of August 31, you are invited to help raise awareness by attending the community event and lighting the town purple.
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Join Mayor Linda Moore for an official proclamation.
Participate in activities with opportunities to
win small prizes, create memorial bags, and
sign the event banner. Enjoy snow cones, cotton
candy, coffee, ice cream, and tasty food that will
be available for purchase.
7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Narcan education, memorial speakers and
stories, and lighting of the memorial bags.
The evening will come to close with lighting
the town purple and a moment of silence.
