Remembering Together: An Overdose Awareness Vigil
Join Whitman Recovery Community Center on Monday, August 31 from 5:00–6:00 PM as we come together in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.
This brief community gathering will honor and remember those whose lives have been lost to overdose while offering a space for connection, reflection, and hope. The evening will include a community memorial wall and candlelight vigil, followed by a moment of remembrance.
Attendees are invited to bring a photo, name, or written memory of a loved one to add to our memorial wall. Materials and candles will also be available.
Whether you have personally experienced loss, are supporting someone you love, are in recovery, or simply want to stand with our community, you are welcome.
Remember their names. Honor their lives. Carry hope forward.
