Join us for a community-centered evening of remembrance, reflection, and solidarity as we gather to honor the lives of those lost to overdose and stand alongside individuals, families, and communities impacted by substance use. This vigil is not only about grief, it is about love, memory, survival, and the belief that every life holds dignity and worth.
The evening will include speakers, personal reflections, memorial activities, the reading of names, music, community connection, and opportunities for healing and support. Prior to the vigil, attendees are invited to participate in a collaborative community mural where names, messages of remembrance, hope, and recovery can be shared throughout Recovery Month.
Resource tables, harm reduction information, naloxone, and recovery support materials will also be available. Whether you are grieving, in recovery, supporting a loved one, working in the field, or simply showing up for your community, you are welcome here.
In rural communities especially, silence and stigma can isolate people. This vigil creates space to remember openly, support one another honestly, and remind each other that no one should have to navigate substance use, recovery, or loss alone.
Together, we remember. Together, we resist stigma. Together, we carry hope forward.
