This is a free film screening of the documentary film Love in the Time of Fentanyl. The film was released in 2022 and runs about 80 mins and focuses on topics of harm reduction, overdose prevention, and safer consumption sites. Here is a description from the film’s producers:

A group of misfits, artists, and drug users operates a renegade safe injection site in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Love in the Time of Fentanyl is an intimate portrait of a community fighting to save lives and keep hope alive in a neighborhood ravaged by the overdose crisis.

The film screening will begin at 7pm, and will be followed by a discussion based on interest. Naloxone distribution will be available for attendees to take home. All are welcome!
