Tennessee Overdose Prevention will be using Facebook Live to spotlight “”Time to Remember – Sharing Lost Lives” with remembering slideshow / videos of individuals who lost their lives to the disease of addiction including overdose, suicide, accidents, infections, and other effects of substance use disorder.
We appreciate anyone who sends Tennessee Overdose Prevention and LINKED their videos of their loved ones for us to feature on International Overdose Awareness Day and throughout the month of August.
If you would like us to include your loved ones, email us at Tnoverdoseprevention@gmail.com and we’ll send you a google form for an official video release. If you had a slideshow video done through your funeral home, you can give them a call and ask for a link, the url.
We will be live-streaming on August 31, but the videos will also be available to view at anytime on our website, youarelinked.org. At least one video will be posted each day through August 31. We expect to fill up our time slots quickly and will post a deadline for including your video. Tennessee families were prioritized through August 7.
The Facebook Live event will also feature:
Obituaries that mention addiction
Families that have lost more than one person
Articles sharing the stories of lost loved ones
Facebook pages remembering lost loved ones
We are continuing our efforts with our Facebook group, Turning Your Community Purple 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
