The Cyprus National Addictions Authority is organizing a press conference to inform the public and the media about the International Overdose Awareness Day. We will provide information about actions of the National Strategy 2021-2028 to combat death by overdose, reduce the social stigma associated with the use of addictive substances, and protect the society in general from addictions. We will also provide some data regarding deaths associated with overdose. The main goal of the press conference is to provide the audience the necessary knowledge about addictions and how we can prevent deaths from overdose.
