LOCKPORT

We will have a community present that is there to support families and friends that have lost or been effected by overdose. There will be speakers ranging from Judges, families members, and people who have experienced overdose themselves before finding recovery. The testimonies shared on this day have had lasting relationships year after year to carrying on to present day. At this years event there will also be a remembrance table to display pictures of those that we have lost. Families and friends are strongly encouraged to bring these the day of the event to display to honor their loved ones. Also we will have various recovery oriented resources tabling with Narcan, harm reduction information, self-help pathways information, available to anyone in attendance. We are also doing tribute cards for people to write a memory or something special to their loved one to display on our remembrance wall that we will be displaying for people to read. Towards the later part of the evening we will be having a local artist, Joshua Vacanti performing a few songs to celebrate the lives of those that have been lost before we have our flameless candlelight vigil and bell ringing ceremony for those that have been lost in the past year in Niagara County.
