At the Lockport Overdose Awareness Day Rally, we offer a supportive, stigma-free space dedicated to honoring lost loved ones, comforting grieving families, and providing critical life-saving tools to prevent future tragedies. Sponsored by organizations like the Independent Living Center of Niagara County, the annual event delivers essential community care through actionable resources and communal remembrance.What We ProvideFree Narcan Training: Hands-on instruction and distribution of life-saving overdose reversal spray.Recovery Resources: Direct access to peer advocates, counseling networks, and local addiction treatment services.Community Advocacy: Actionable support from Addict 2 Addict Niagara and Family 2 Family Niagara.Candlelight Vigil: A powerful, flameless memorial and bell-ringing ceremony to remember those we have lost.Remembrance Table: A dedicated space for families and friends to display photographs of their loved ones.Shared Testimonies: Uplifting and raw messages of hope, recovery, and resilience from survivors and caregivers.
