Join CenterPointe, in partnership with Wellbeing Initiative, Stop Overdose Nebraska, and Marvilee, for our Second Annual Overdose Awareness and Remembrance Event, an opportunity to honor lives lost, raise awareness, and support overdose prevention in our community. This year’s event will feature free NARCAN training and NARCAN distribution, empowering attendees with life-saving tools and knowledge.
We are honored to share the story of a mother who turned her grief into action by founding Marvilee, a non-profit created in memory of her son who died from an overdose. Her powerful message of loss, love, and advocacy will serve as a moving reminder of why this work matters.
The event will conclude with a remembrance ceremony, offering space to reflect, grieve, and remember those we’ve lost to overdose.
Together, we stand in solidarity with individuals, families, and communities affected by overdose—and affirm our commitment to prevention, compassion, and change.
