On August 31, the people of Lethbridge will come together from 5 to 8 pm at City Hall. They will be mourning the deaths of Albertans from all walks of life due to drug overdose. They will also mourn the loss of the ARCHES Supervised Consumption Site which is closing at 4:30 pm on August 31. This event will be a somber but peaceful rally and will include a “Die-In” in front of City Hall followed by a candlelight vigil walk from City Hall to ARCHES and back.

This event is organized by concerned Albertans including employees of ARCHES, persons with lived experience, volunteers with Moms Stop The Harm and has the support of the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition, the Raging Grannies and Friends of Medicare.
