Location: Participants will gather at The Perfectly Flawed Foundation office at 240 1st Street in LaSalle beginning at 11 am. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided followed by a short walk (< 0.5 mile) to the Illinois & Michigan Canal Lock #15 for a butterfly release shortly after 12 pm

Local organizations will be observing Overdose Awareness between August 25 – August 31, 2025. During the month of August help us remember those we have lost and celebrate lives we have saved by displaying purple ribbons and lights at your home, business or landmarks.
Community members are welcome to join Buddy’s Purpose and The Perfectly Flawed Foundation for a moment of remembrance and friendship on, Saturday, August 30th from 11am -1pm.

Participants will gather at The Perfectly Flawed Foundation office at 240 1st Street in LaSalle beginning at 11 am. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided followed by a short walk (< 0.5 mile) to the Illinois & Michigan Canal Lock #15 for a butterfly release shortly after 12 pm
You can display purple lights and ribbons outside your home, business, organization, or landmarks in your city such as fountains, parks, or community buildings.
By donating $10, you can pick up a purple light bulb and ribbon at the Perfectly Flawed Office located at 240 1st street in La Salle, IL.
