A small area of pop-up tents will be located outside the shelter on the 31st for Overdose Awareness Day.
It will include a informational table with multiple resources to give out and to educate our community with, ranging from detox and treatment brochures to step by step instructional material for overdoses. There will be mock kits and diagrams made up for those who are interested in learning how to use naloxone/narcan
There will be also be a snack table located nearby for those who are hungry or in need.
