In 2023, Tasmania recorded the highest number of unintentional drug-induced deaths since recording began in 2004. 83% of these deaths occurred at home.

To raise awareness of overdose risks and encourage conversation in our community, the Kennedy Lane lights will be lit purple from Aug 25 to Aug 31.
