The Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center, Wayne State University’s Center for Urban Studies, and Healthy Grosse Pointes & Harper Woods with The Family Center hosts the 4th Annual MiPDC International Overdose Awareness Day event at the Wayne County Community College District Mary Ellen Stempfle Univeristy Center Campus.
This event will include a live overdose rescue training session at 11:00 am EST with the WSU Center for Urban Studies AmeriCorps Community Training for Overdose Rescue (ACT) program.
The public is invited to register for the live training session and receive educational resources from the Michigan Poison & Drug Information Center, Healthy Grosse Pointes & Harper Woods, FAN (Face Addiction Now), and more. This event will close with memorial and rememberance observance of those lost to substance misuse.
