Overdose Awareness Day Event on Wed., Aug. 27 honoring International Overdose Awareness Day on Aug. 31. Partners at event include East Shore District Health Dept., the APT Foundation, Carelon and FAVOR. Event will include harm reduction information and supplies such as Deterra, Lockboxes and info on Narcan. It will also feature a tree where people can add names of loved ones they have lost to overdose. The purpose is to spread awareness, reduce stigma and build community togetherness.
