The Great South Bay Coalition with Maxed Out Drug Prevention will have their IOAD kickoff Event Tuesday, August 27th. We begin with a Health Fair from 3-5 PM with local community wellness resource tables, Narcan Training in English and Spanish, and Harm Reduction Strategies/Training in the “Davis Community Room” BBP Library. Outdoors we will have Community Resource Tables, Middle School Youth Drawing Exhibit “Messages of Hope”, Scouting Honor Guard, Local Government, Elected Officials, School officials, Parent and Faith-based speakers for “Our 12th Wings of Hope Memorial Tree Lighting”, at 7 PM with Luminaries placed around the tree with Memorial Notes for Loved Ones Lost to overdose.
