The Adams County Coalition for Overdose Awareness & Recovery Memorial Walk is an annual event held in Gettysburg in observance of International Overdose Awareness Day. The walk and vigil aim to remember loved ones lost to overdoses, reduce addiction stigma, and connect the community with local support resources. The walk begins at the Adams County Courthouse and proceeds to the Gettysburg Rec Park. The gathering features the memorial walk, a candlelight vigil to remember those lost, and a space for community support. Family members are invited to display photos or honor their loved ones during the memorial.
