Hello Community Partners,

In observance of International Overdose Awareness Day, New Paths, Inc. will host a Recovery Walk on Monday, August 31, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at our main campus, 765 E. Hamilton Avenue in Flint.

We will walk together in unity to the Genesee County Administration Building, where we will join our community partners for the Remember & Rise event from noon to 2:00 PM at 324 S. Saginaw Street in Flint.

This walk will provide a space to:

Remember and honor those we have lost to overdose

Recognize survivors and affirm that recovery is possible

Support families, friends, and community members affected by overdose

Raise awareness and stand together in hope, recovery, and unity

Community members are welcome to join the walk or meet us directly at the Genesee County Administration Building for the Remember & Rise event.

Please help us spread the word by sharing with your staff, participants, volunteers, community members, social media audiences, and other partners who may wish to attend or support this important observance.
