The Erie County Office of Drug & Alcohol Abuse/ Regional Recovery Hub is collaborating with Stairways Behavioral Health; Erie Highmark Caring Place, Taylor’s Hope, Lake Erie Youth R.O.A.D Crew; and HOPE Animal-Assisted Crisis Response to host the 2nd annual Erie County INTERNATIONAL OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY on August 31, 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm located this year at Stairways Behavioral Health on 2185 west 8th Street in Erie, PA 16505. We will have some local resource tables offering supports & information; free food & beverages, an activity to make luminaries and a vigil (remembrance). We will also have other activities for kids, families & individuals. Event is free of charge, however limited seats, all ages welcome. please contact www.RecovEriePA.org to sign up ASAP.
