The Addiction Awareness Initiative
The opioid epidemic, fueled by the war on drugs And an influx of synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, carfentonil has affected every community in the United States with staggering death tolls from overdose.
Although the epicenter of this epidemic is in the heart of the mid west, it’s devastating toll has reached the West Coast in a wave and there is no end in sight with complications from COVID 19.
Compassion, Education and Harm reduction, such as Narcan or Naloxone is proven to save lives and lead to recovery for those suffering from Substance Abuse Disorder and helps to end the stigma and is shown to increase positive outcomes.
The North County Justice Allies invite you to light a candle, learn and work to bring harm reduction to our community and remember those we have lost.
