The 3rd Annual Defiance County Overdose Awareness Day Event will take place on August 26, 2026 from 4:30pm-7:30pm. The event is hosted in partnership with the Defiance County Drug Free Coalition, Defiance College, and the Four County ADAMhs Board. The event will feature resource tables from local mental health, behavioral health, and social service agencies. Speakers with lived experience will take the stage throughout the night to share their powerful stories or recovery and resilience. Dinner will be available for a free will donation from the State Banks GIVES Truck and dessert are available from Sweet As Cakes for purchase. Free t-shirts, children’s books, and memorial tokens are available on a first come, first served basis. Please join us to remember those we have lost to overdose and celebrate those who have recovered!
