Leaders Advancing and Helping Communities and the A.C.T. Drug Free Community Coalition invites you, your family, friends, and neighbors to join us for our Back to School Safety & International Overdose Awareness Day Event—an evening dedicated to promoting health, safety, prevention, and community connection as we prepare for a successful school year. We would love for DWIHN to host a resource table and share information with our community members.

This FREE community event will bring together local organizations, first responders, healthcare providers, and community partners to provide valuable resources, family-friendly activities, and life-saving education.

As students head back to school, this event is designed to equip families with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to stay safe, healthy, and connected. In recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, we will also provide education on overdose prevention, reduce stigma surrounding substance use disorders, and empower community members with life-saving overdose response skills through Narcan training.
