Overdose Awareness Day BBQ – 31 August.
We invite you to come and join us for a day of remembrance, education, and support.
Starting at 11am, there will be a free feed where you can enjoy delicious food while mingling with members from various organisations. Among the teams present will be Amity, NTAHC, Forwaard, Salvation Army, and Mission Australia, all of whom are dedicated to making a difference in our community.
During the event, there will be an opportunity to learn about Naloxone, a medication that can effectively reverse overdose from opioids. By educating ourselves and others on the use of Naloxone, we can play a vital role in saving lives and preventing the devastating consequences of overdose.
We extend a warm invitation to everyone, regardless of background or experience. Whether you have been directly affected by overdose or simply want to learn more and show your support, this event is for you. Together, we can create a safe and understanding environment.
