Cumnock

The 2026 IOAD walk to raise awareness will take place in Cumnock, the second biggest town in East Ayrshire (previous year’s have been held in Kilmarnock) and will finish in the Woodroad Park for the Rose Remembrance Ceremony and family friendly community event. Council Officials, Elected Members and the Drugs Policy Minister for Scotland will be invited to attend. This year’s event will be led and organised by the East Ayrshire Lived Experience Panel, with support from the East Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnerships Alcohol & Drug Partnership and involvement from the wider East Ayrshire Recovery Network.
