This year, IOAD Concord will be held on SUNDAY, AUGUST 27th, in order to allow people also to attend their local IOAD vigil on the 31st.

The Concord event is at 5 pm, beginning with speakers and followed by a candlelight vigil. Candles will be distributed. (Setup is at 4 for recovery organizations who are tabling.)

If you wish to feature a photo of your loved one, you may submit it on the Facebook page listed below, or bring your own hard copy to hold or display.

We welcome ANYONE to attend, regardless of whether you have firsthand experience with overdose loss–this event is to create awareness of and visibility around the need for better addictions services, as well as to honor those we have lost to the opioid epidemic and those we love who are struggling now.

The last two years have been terrific, and this year we expect the same–a great turnout, a vision for transformation, and a message of compassion and hope. Please join us! Feel free to email with any questions you may have.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.
