Canton residents are invited to an Overdose Awareness Day event Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at Crenshaw Park on Sherrick Road SE. The free, family-friendly gathering will feature memorial activities, speakers, drumming, resources, and food, while highlighting local efforts to prevent overdoses and support affected families across Stark County.
