Join us for our annual Overdose Awareness Day event as we recognize “25 Years On & Still Needed” — a quarter-century throwback theme honoring the ongoing fight against overdose and substance use stigma while remembering the lives we have lost. This meaningful community gathering will bring people together through remembrance, education, support, and hope.
The event will feature guest speakers sharing personal stories and messages of advocacy, music, refreshments, community organizations tabling with local resources, and vendors. A special memorial display will be created to honor and remember loved ones lost to overdose, ensuring their lives and stories are never forgotten.
For 25 years, communities across the world have continued to raise awareness, support harm reduction, and stand beside individuals and families impacted by substance use and overdose. This event serves as a reminder that the need for compassion, education, prevention, recovery support, and community connection is just as important today as ever.
We invite community members, families, advocates, organizations, and allies to join us as we remember, reflect, and continue the work together as we honor the past while fighting for a better future.
