Texas ICON by UTHealth Houston is a TTOR-funded initiative. ICON’s goals are to:
Educate communities about substance use and substance use disorder.
Provide personalized and confidential referrals to treatment for people experiencing substance use disorder.
Increase access to medication-assisted treatment and life-saving harm reduction.
Understand and improve local treatment options for addiction.
Reduce stigma.

Texas ICON by UTHealth Houston is hosting a panel discussion to educate community members about substances and substance use and share expert perspectives and resources. This panel discussion is open to any resident or community member of Bastrop County. All backgrounds and ages are welcome. This community event is FREE.

Overdose affects everyone. From grieving families to spontaneous first responders, the impacts of overdose are far-reaching and fall indiscriminately.
